Following the birth of my son Jude in 2013, it became clear that a full spectrum support approach during one of the most important moments in one’s life — and the start of another — was essential every step along the way. In 2019, while being the surrogate for two fathers and their healthy child, I experienced first-hand the hurdles many members of the LGBTQ+ community experience and the importance of having professional care options available. It became clear that offering collaborative and inclusive support was essential during the earliest stages of pregnancy and into the postpartum transition. As your doula, I’ll hold space for the extraordinary journey that lays ahead; working one-on-one to nurture compassionate, non-judgemental and inclusive care that suits your individual needs.
