Our birth doula partnership package includes three prenatal visits, continuous in-person labor support, three postpartum visits and extended virtual support from the signing of the contract until 6 weeks postpartum. Two of your prenatal visits will be centered around childbirth education and birth vision planning. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge, tools and resources you need so you feel informed about your choices and options. We hold space for you making sure your preferences are heard and listened to with a trauma informed approach. If you have a partner we also work closely with them teaching them the tools they need to not only support you but also care for themselves during this transformational experience. One of the visits done prenatally is centered around postpartum planning giving your family tools that they can use through the transition after birth. Included in this birth package we partner with Postpartum Doulas Becca Fox and Shannon Brenner to provide that incredible tool and resource. We provide continuous in-person support to you during your labor and birth experience using the birth vision we create with you prenatally. During your birth we see ourselves as advocates for your vision. We are trained in DTI’s Slow Doula Method to help facilitate communication with you and your providers. Your three postpartum visits include a postpartum visit with Sami and a Certified Lactation Counselor visit with Hannah that is inclusive to all infant feeding options including bodyfeeding, formula feeding and exclusive pumping.
